To flip pages in your notebook without using the page tabs, you may add the Previous Page & Next Page buttons in your Quick Access Toolbar (File/Options/Quick Access Toolbar).

These buttons are available in the Page tab of a Docked note*. To add them in your Quick Access Toolbar, right click on the icon, and select Add

This is a distinctive feature of Docked pages which then becomes available on any normal window !

It allows to stay in Full Page mode, yet having the ability to navigate through your notes, without showing the page tabs (which reduce the space available for note taking).

Also, you may use the Back & Forward buttons :

Back button

The Back button goes to the previous note your where in. This is different than the Previous Page which goes to the previous page in your note’ list. Back may go back to a note stored in another notebook for example.
